Hill's Prescription Diet j/d - True stories with happy endings

Here are some recent testimonials from pet owners whose pets are now enjoying a better quality of life, on Prescription Diet j/d:

Pet’s Name: Micky Hoole
Owner’s name: Mrs Marilyn Hoole
Home Town: Sunnydale, Cape Town

“Micky, the mascot for animal welfare organisation TEARS, is almost nine years old. Before he was a year old, Micky started showing signs of hip dysplasia and had an operation that seemed to help, but from about six years of age he started slowing down and was reluctant to walk any distance. He battled to jump into the car and even walks on the beach were not a happy experience for him. In December 2008 I started feeding him j/d and within a month I could see the improvement. He has been on j/d ever since and now jumps into the car with ease and loves his walks on the beach. Hill's j/d has given him a new lease on life.”

Pet’s Name: Marmalade Marshal
Owner: Mr Michael Marshal
Home Town : Port Shepstone

“Marmalade is an old cat who was battling with arthritis; he couldn’t jump on the bed and was stiff when he walked. He used to be on anti-inflammatory medication all the time, but since eating j/d he only has it once in a while, about every three weeks.”

Pet’s Name: Pippa Graham
Owner: Mrs Henriette Graham
Home Town: Tshipise, Limpopo

“Pippa was starting to show signs of her age. It was an effort to get up and she would limp, especially when it was cold. She was grumpy and didn’t want to play with our other dogs. Within three weeks of starting to eat j/d Pippa was much more mobile and a happier dog. She could climb the stairs quite easily and was playing again with our Yorkie and Scottie. It’s been several months since she started Hill’s j/d. There was a big improvement in the first two to three weeks and she has maintained those levels since. It’s really helping her enjoy her old age.”

Pet’s Name: Spats Martin
Owner’s name: Miss Rhona Martin
Home Town: Pietermaritzburg

When she was in Standard 5, Rhona was given a kitten she named Spats. Now, nearly 19 years later the two are still inseparable, even though Spats is now an elderly cat. “Spats had become stiff and was no longer able to get up on my bed,” said Rhona. “I took Spats for an injection for arthritis, when our vet recommended we try Hill’s j/d because it had worked well on his own cat. Since she’s been on j/d, Spats is much more flexible, she jumps onto my bed and the kitchen counters - no problem.”

Pet’s Name: Suzy van der Linden
Owner’s name: Ms Cathy van der Linden
Home Town: Fish Hoek, Cape Town

Cathy said her cat Suzy is still eating Hill’s j/d since 2009 and continues to thrive, “Yes, it is a miracle food! Go ahead and quote me.”
